What Forkclock is

Forkclock is an app to log fasts, meals, water, weight, activity, habits, sleep, mood and other health data, and see how they evolve. It runs on the web, Android, iPhone and Windows. Using it means you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you download it from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies.

Minimum age

You must be 18 or older to use Forkclock. Fasting is not recommended for minors, and the app asks about it when you start.

Not medical advice

Forkclock is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disease. The information in the app is general, shows its level of evidence and is not a substitute for a health professional. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, have or had an eating disorder, have diabetes, take medication (including GLP-1s) or have another health condition, talk to your doctor before fasting or changing your diet or activity. If you feel unwell, stop fasting and seek care.

Your account and your data

You can use the app without an account: your data stays on your device. The account is free and optional; it is needed to sync across devices, keep copies in the cloud, use AI photos and buy Plus. Your data is yours: you can export, import and delete it at any time from Settings. You can delete your account under Settings → Account & sync; the steps, also without the app, are at forkclock.com/app/delete-account. You are responsible for what you log and for keeping access to your email or your Google or Apple account safe.

Forkclock Plus

Some features are part of Forkclock Plus (for example AI meal photos, in-depth analysis, the PDF report, styles and custom programs). The PDF report for your doctor is free once every 6 months when you have enough data for a fairly complete report; with Plus, unlimited. It costs USD 2.99 a month or USD 19.99 a year (reference prices: each store adjusts them to your country and its taxes, and the app shows the final price before you pay). Each account can try Plus for free once for 7 days, with no card and no automatic charge (AI photos are not included in the trial); on iPhone, the trial, when available, is offered as an App Store offer. Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase. The monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period; you manage and cancel them in your store account settings. Refunds follow the store where you buy it (Google Play or App Store) and its policies. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. What you log is never locked: if Plus ends, your data stays available and exportable.

Acceptable use

Do not use Forkclock for illegal purposes or try to access other people's data, interfere with the service or scrape it.

Food data from Open Food Facts

The scanner, the packaged-product search and the branded products the app includes for offline use rely on data from Open Food Facts, an open database built by people around the world. That database is published under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0 and its contents under the Database Contents License; the part bundled with the app is a derivative database published under the same license. Product data may contain errors: check the label if in doubt.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app running well, but it is provided "as is", without guarantees of continuous availability or of the accuracy of estimates (calories, energy expenditure, food nutrients). We may update the app and these terms; if a change is significant, we will tell you in the app.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Forkclock is not liable for damages arising from using the app or from decisions made based on it. Nothing here limits the rights consumer protection law gives you in your country.
